Address: Strawberry Hill at Barmup on Menang Noongar Country, Middleton Road, Albany WA, Australia .The Old Farm, now known as Strawberry Hill/Barmup is located on Strawberry Hill in the suburb of Mira Mar in Albany, Western Australia. It is known as being the first farm in Western Australia. The hill on which the property is situated rises to a height of 72 metres and is a spur of Mount Clarence.

The National Anzac Centre is Australia's foremost museum honouring the Anzac legend. Set within Albany Heritage Park, the Centre offers visitors a deeply personal connection with the Anzac experience.
Upon entering the National Anzac Centre, visitors assume the identity of one of 32 Anzac characters and walk with them as they experience the First World War: from recruitment; through training and embarkation; engagement in conflicts in the Indian Ocean prior to arrival in Egypt; and on to Gallipoli, the Palestine and Sinai; and across the Western front.
Middleton Beach
Address: 1 Middleton Road, Middleton Beach WA, Australia .This, the town beach, is approximately 4 kilometres long stretching from the start of the Ellen Cove jetty to Emu Point. It is Albany's main swimming beach and has a shark proof barrier at Ellen Cove as well as beach volleyball courts, a children's playground and picnic and barbeque facilities. It is protected from large swells by King George Sound and as such rarely has big surf. Head out to Nanarup or Muttonbird Island if you are looking for a wave.
Desert Mounted Corps Memorial
Address: Mount Clarence Summit / Padre White Lookout, Apex Drive, Mount Clarence WA, Australia .Impressive monument in a great location overlooking King George Sound. For many soldiers, amongst their last views of Australia as they departed for war.
The current very impressive bronze monument shows a mounted Australian Light-horseman defending a New Zealand Mounted Rifleman who is standing beside his wounded horse. The statue is said to be based on an incident in the charge at El Arish in 1917.
The approximately 3.6 metre tall bronze statue sits on a high granite plinth and is located near the top of Mount Clarence with fantastic views over the King George Sound. The monument is accessed by walking up a staircase from the main car park although there is disabled parking nearer to the monument.
The monument is a replica of the original monument that was erected and unveiled in Port Said in Egypt in 1932. Unfortunately during the Suez conflict in 1956, the original monument was destroyed following an attack by an Egyptian crowd. The fragments were eventually shipped back to Australia in 1960 where is was subsequently restored and unveiled in its new location in 1964.
